PORTFOLIO ENTERTAINMENT BUMPS INTO THE U.S. WITH SALE TO MTV NETWORKS’ LOGO
Toronto, Canada (September 25, 2008) – Jet-setting back to the Western Hemisphere, Portfolio Entertainment brokers a deal with Logo, an MTV Networks brand, for all three seasons (61 episodes) of Bump!, an international travel series targeting the sights, culture and cuisine of gay-friendly locales. Logo will begin airing all-new episodes of Bump! on October 9th in the United States on its digital cable and satellite channel.
“Logo is an ideal home for this show in the States because the channel has the scope to reach Bump!’s audience of gay and lesbian travelers,” said Joy Rosen, Co-Founder and President, Portfolio Entertainment. “Logo also has the depth in programming to be able to include such a unique global travel series in their line-up, where the content is targeted at a more mature viewership.”
“We’re thrilled to bring this terrific travel series to Logo, once again expanding the wide portfolio of programming for our audience,” said Lisa Sherman, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Logo.
Bump! (65 x 30’) is a global travelogue series focusing on gay-friendly international destinations including tourism hotspots like Denver, Miami and London, urban centers such as Montreal and Los Angeles as well as Copenhagen, Stockholm, Barcelona, Budapest, Sydney and Buenos Aires. In a stylish and upbeat format Bump! delves into the intriguing social scene of each destination, local attractions, neighborhoods and events. Targeting the 18-35 demographic, the series is created, developed and produced by Bumper 2 Bumper Media, an exclusive partnership between Pink Triangle Press and the award winning media company Peace Point Entertainment Group.
