OF 2005
TORONTO (Canada) - November 22, 2005 - Bump!
The world's most watched gay and lesbian travel series
premieres its second season of 26 episodes on December
20th on OUTtv (Tuesdays at 9pm ET / 6PM PT and
Fridays at 8:30ET) in Canada and in spring 2006 on here!
TV (U.S.A), EGO (Israel) and PinkTV (France and Belgium).
Host Shannon McDonough is back for season two
and joining her is hot Vancouverite and rising out gay
personality Charlie David who is currently co-starring
in four different TV series including here! TV's popular gay gothic soap opera "Dante's Cove", Bravo's "Godiva" and Life
Network's "Crash Test Mommy". Charlie
has just been included in OUT Magazine's annual OUT 100 List of the year's most interesting,
influential and newsworthy LGBT people - a list that
includes Melissa Etheridge, Marc Jacobs and other gay
celebrities. Charlie and Shannon have circumvented the
globe in season two, hopping around the world from Paris
to P-Town.
In each episode, Bump! the world's first gay and lesbian
travel series, presents a new gay-friendly destination
in a stylish and upbeat format. Viewers are taken on
a personal tour of each locale, including interviews
with local celebrities, personalities and gay icons.
Bump! also delves into the always-intriguing (and often
risqué) social scene of the destination. From
circuit parties to coffeehouses, from beaches to bathhouses;
the show explores where and how people connect for fun
and love. Each episode gives a travelogue of the location,
covering attractions, neighbourhoods and events, all
from a gay perspective. The first season traveled to
such cities as London, Houston and Palm Springs. Season
two of Bump! will include many 'up and coming' gay destinations.
The show's website www.bumptv.com launches December
1st and will include behind-the-scenes postcards from
Shannon and Charlie. The site will be a gay travelers'
companion to all of the Bump episodes, and will include
information on unique things to see, places to eat,
shop and have fun, as well as links to gay friendly
accommodations.
Air Canada, one of the world's top airlines, has also
signed on as a major sponsor and official carrier of
