Bump! Production on Fifth Season Begins with New Co-Host Deb Pearce

TORONTO (Canada) September 20, 2010 -- Bump! the world's most watched gay and lesbian travel series produced by Bumper 2 Bumper Media, a joint venture of Peace Point Entertainment Group and Pink Triangle Press is currently in production on its fifth season with 23 new half-hour episodes shot in HD. Production has just begun and will continue until February 2011. Commissioning networks LOGO (Viacom-owned American gay network) will debut the new season in Spring 2011 followed by the Canadian debut on OUTtv for Fall 2011.

Bump! is the world's first gay and lesbian travel and lifestyle television series. It is unique and international in scope. In each episode Bump! presents a new gayfriendly destination and gay human-interest stories in a stylish and upbeat format.

New co-host Deb Pearce joins the series and Charlie David returns for his fourth season as co-host. Deb is a celebrated and well-known Canadian comedian, performer, host and radio jock. Deb and Charlie will travel to exciting locations including Costa Rica, Boston, Provincetown, Saugatuck, Ottawa, Palm Springs, San Diego, West Hollywood, Sonoma County, Baltimore, Newcastle, Liverpool,
Dublin and Belfast, as well as South American countries such as Peru, Argentina and Chile.


The show's website www.bumptv.com includes streaming video clips from selected episodes, and practical travel information. The site is a gay travelers' companion to the Bump television series, and includes tips on unique things to see, places to eat, shop and have fun, as well as links to gay and gay–friendly attractions, events and accommodations.

The Bump! Travel Guide app series for smart phones was launched this summer. The first 12 cities have been released, with each guide delivering a rich interactive multi-media overview of a gay-friendly destination. Curated and organized by category, other app highlights include photos and video clips, GPS mapping, user comments and ratings and currency and weather information.information.

Boxed DVD sets of Bump! episodes are available at retail stores across North America and online at Amazon.com, Blockbuster.com, 10percent.com and NetFlix.com.

Host Bios:


Deb Pearce
Deb has been an active member in North America's LGBT community for 20 years. She moved to Toronto from Peterborough, Ontario when she was 19 years old only to discover she was NOT the only lesbian in the world. Making her way through many, many jobs, she got her start in entertainment as a drag king in the early 90's. Her characters include Dirk Diggler, Kneel Diamond and a fan favourite - Man Murray, an impersonation of Canada's own songbird Anne Murray. Deb found the spotlight and grew as a performer through improv, hosting hundreds of events throughout North America, sharing stages with Cyndi Lauper, singing, comedy and appearing in drag on Queer as Folk.


Her strong commitment to her community is made clear through her many years of raising funds for breast cancer and HIV/AIDS awareness and being a pioneer as the first lesbian to host both mid-day and morning shows on the worlds first LGBT commercial radio station in Toronto. Deb can talk to anyone, anywhere about anything. She has an incredible zest for life and loves to make people around her laugh.


Charlie David
Charlie David has been a host for E! Television, NBC, OutTV, LOGO, here! TV, Pink TV, EGO, Fine Living and Life Network on such shows as FYE!, SpyTV, Crash Test Mommy and his travel series Bump! He has appeared as musical guest on VH1, BBC, CBS's The Early
Show, and dozens of radio shows. His recent film and television credits include Judas Kiss, Mulligans, A Four Letter Word and Kiss the Bride, Bravo!'s Godiva's, Showtime's Reefer Madness, Sundance Channel's award winning Terminal City and starring in the
gothic gay soap opera Dante's Cove.

Charlie's writing has been published by Instinct, National Youth Ambassador, Adventure Women, Outlooks, BoyCrazy! magazines and AfterElton.com. As a novelist he has written three books, Boy Midflight, Mulligans and Shadowlands.

In 2005 Out Magazine recognized Charlie in the 'Out 100' at their gala in New York for outstanding contributions to LGBT Arts and Culture. In 2007 the Philadelphia Film Society awarded Charlie with their Rising Star Award. In 2008 the Festival del Sol in Gran Canaria
awarded their Best Male Actor Award to Charlie and the male cast of A Four Letter Word.


Charlie is co-owner of CTM International Enterprises Inc., a Canadian Talent Agency representing actors for film, television and commercials. In 2007 he started Border2Border Entertainment Inc., a production company whose film credits include Judas Kiss and the award winning Mulligans and Beyond Gay: The Politics of Pride. In 2011 Charlie David Travel will launch specializing in luxury vacations to Southern hemisphere destinations. He is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts and currently resides out of suitcases in various hotels around the globe.
